Mr Zafar Gondal is an established international rule-of-law, governance, regulatory, and institutional reform practitioner with over three decades of field experience as a former Senior Magistrate and Judge, Director of the National Accountability Bureau, public prosecutor, and Technical Specialist on Justice and Rule of Law (UNDP/UNSOM). He holds a dual LL.M. in Comparative Legislative Studies (Civil Law and Common Law) from London and in International Environmental Law, Transnational Commercial Law, International Commercial Transactions, International Economic Law, and Economic Crimes from King's College London, alongside an M.A. in English Literature. He also holds advanced certificates in Regulatory Impact Analysis from the College of Europe, International Legislative Drafting from Tulane University (USA), Postgraduate Diplomas in Human Rights and Criminal Procedure from the International Bar Association, a Certificate in Analysis of Public Policy from LSE London, and a Certificate on the Paris Agreement from the UN System Staff College.
